I train all my dogs with a flat collar and leash. I prefer to out think my dogs rather then to coerce them. Well I've just don't seem to be capable of going with the trend sooo. I am not sure if it's worth getting her a harness yet since she will still grow soooooo fast! But if you have a harness what type do you use? I want something that wouldn't agitate the skin when worn (Especially with our single coated fur babies, irritation is easy). If you're anti-harness let me know too! I want some opinions. Who uses harness' (I never have before) and why do you think it's better. I have heard good things about harness' but want to get some opinions. I read a long time ago a thread about a dog slipping out of their collar and that is always a fear of mine (Especially with growing puppy neck the collar is constantly adjusting). ![]() ![]() It is supposed to be warming up here soon though, and now it is generally light when I get home from work (Hate winter darkness all the time) so I want her to start taking short little walks to get her used to being on a leash without overworking her yet. so she gets cold pretty fast with her bare little belly. Wrangler is doing amazing! Although she hasn't gone on many walks yet as she generally goes outside in the backyard and it's pretty cold here (-18 celcius on a good day).
